African Games 2019: Morocco wins 15 medals including 9 golds in Karate

The Moroccan Karate delegation won no less than 15 medals at the end of the 8th day of the 2019 African Games organized in Rabat, Morocco. Among the champions, many women have achieved a milestone.

It is a real success for the Moroccan karate delegation at the 2019 All Africa Games. At the end of the 8th day of competition, they won 15 medals including nine golds, four silvers and two bronzes.

Gold medals that have been awarded to champions such as Sayah Aicha in the -50kg category, Nisrin Brouk (-68kg), Sanae Agalmam (individual Kata). The men’s and women’s national teams also won the team kata competition, while the women’s team won the team Kumite. On the other hand, we remember the victory of Khaoula Ouhmad (-55kg) who won the silver medal while Ibtissam Sadini (-61kg) won the bronze.

In short, honorable results as described by the Secretary General of the Royal Moroccan Karate Federation, Abdelhay El Kantaoui, who welcomed the members of the national team of karate, stressing that the synergy existing between the team members and the strength of the technical staff with Egyptian coaches also played an important role in Morocco’s positive results. And it’s not over since the 12th edition of the African Games continues until August 31 in Morocco.
