Adoul entrance exam: Women make up 40% of the candidates

A total of 7,642 women, roughly 40% of the candidates, took part on Sunday, in the examination to access the profession of adoul for the first time, in the wake of the historic royal decision allowing this profession for women.

The number of candidates selected for this exam is 18,948 , of which 40% are women (7,642 candidates), said a statement from the Ministry of Justice, stating that the competition events are organized in 10 sites in Rabat, Casablanca , Tangier, Fez, Marrakech, Oujda and Agadir, map reported.

According to the same source, the women participating in this exam hailed the royal decision which gave them the opportunity to fully participate in the social project led by HM the King and aimed at building a society of equality and parity.

The ministry also reported a “normal” and “positive” atmosphere marking the conduct of this competition, as well as the enthusiasm of the candidates for the success of this historic event.

At the Council of Ministers, held on January 22, 2018, King Mohammed VI instructed the Minister of Justice to open the profession of adoul for woman also and take the necessary measures to achieve this goal.
