9 Moroccan photographers take part in Pan-African exhibition at Artspace Casablanca

Written by FDM

9 Moroccan photographers are collectively exposing “Lumière et corps mystique” (Light and Mystical Body) at the Art Space Gallery in Casablanca. The event, which is part of the Pan-African “Prête moi ton rêve” (Lend Me Your Dream) exhibition, allows artists to question the body and to reveal their strong sensitivity through photography.

Nawal Amharech, Chaouat Hind, Touhami Ennadre, Nabil Gandhi, Med Hajlani, Lamia Naji, Hamza Ben Rachad, Misha Tazi and Zakaria Ait Wakrim share a strong artistic sensibility, a very special approach with light, spirituality and the mystical dimension of the body. The result is a dazzling and beautiful exhibition to visit absolutely.

“As we celebrate our continent, rich in its spirituality, its various rites and a visceral and essential respect for the sacred, it was important that our photographers of various experiences and maturities can respond in an echo, almost a prayer, luminous to the beats, the rhythm of trances and celebrations of what could be telluric, divine or any other manifestation that elevates us and enriches us “, writes the art critic and curator at the foundation for the development of contemporary African culture, Syham Weigant in the book dedicated to the presentation of the exhibition.

Artspace, 9 rue Hounaine, Racine, Casablanca
