The 24th edition of the Citizen University to be held online from January 23 to March 20

Initiated for more than 20 years to democratize knowledge, the Citizen University is held this year exclusively online from January 23 to March 20, 2021.

This 24th edition will be spread over three months and will see the organization of 9 seminars led by teacher-researchers, experts, politicians, and decision-makers.

In a press release, the HEM Foundation, initiator of this concept, explains that given “the situation of the current health crisis, the 24th edition of the Citizen University will be fully online on” Teams Live Events “. The courses are open to all and without conditions ”.

The seminars will be held around the three main axes, namely, “Institutions”, “Political Life & Human Rights”, “Thought & Society”, “Economy & Business Management”.

The 2021 edition of the Citizen University will see the participation of great personalities, among others, Nadia Bernoussi, member of the Consultative Commission for the Revision of the Constitution, Abdellah Tourabi, professor-researcher and head of the Communication department of the Special Commission on development model, Youssef Saadani, Director of Economic Studies at CDG, Leila MAMOU, Deputy Managing Director at Crédit Agricole and President of the INJAZ AL MAGHRIB Association.

Since its launch in 1997, the Citizen University has organized more than 735 seminars and enjoyed the participation of more than 62,000 citizens. More than 7,500 auditors’ certificates were also awarded to participants who attended at least 80% of the seminars.
