Zina, the ethical and responsible shampoo brand in Morocco

Written by FDM

In an attempt to minimalize the amount of waste in our environment, like cutting back on packagings, Solid Shampoo bars have made their way to the forefront of the International market.  Morocco too can brag with its new solid shampoos brand: Zina.

Launched at the beginning of the year in Morocco by Mathilde Darras, Zina is 100% natural range that promotes zero waste. Their specialty? Solid shampoos.  Mathilde Darras is a passionate entrepreneur who wanted to opt for a Slow Cosmetic and Zero Waste approach after a finding.  When she turned to natural solutions, she stumbled upon difficulties to meet her cosmetic requirements.

Indeed, solid shampoos were not available on the market and/or did not match her hair, as she explains on her Facebook account. “After a thousand researches on the components and some tests … here we are … Zina is born!” Results: shampoos that  are 0% sulphates, 0% silicones, 0% parabens, 0% dyes, 100% biodegradable and 100% of vegetable origin. That’s not all. They are suitable for all types of hair (oily, dry, fine, colored, anti-dandruff, anti-falls and special child). AND better yet: ” We also offer a bespoke service where we adapt our recipes according to your needs (without essential oil for example), ” she says. Convinced, no?
