Stretch marks are the number one female enemy before cellulite. These unattractive marks poison the life and image of women. In Barcelona , a 21 year old artist and feminist Cinta Tort Cartró, also known as Zinteta on social media, is turning women’s stretch marks into works of art.
Rainbow stripes, pastel lines, and neon waves painted onto various female bodies celebrating what is traditionally seen as flaws or “imperfections.” The young woman told Yahoo Beauty “It all started as a form of expression, but it quickly turned into social commentary of the male-dominated culture we live in
“Stretch marks are part of our essence, our moments, our lives, our stories and us,” Cartró writes on Instagram, acording to Bored Panda . “To accept all this is to accept your roots, your history, everything in it and, after all, accept yourself.”
And we couldn’t agree more!
