Written by FDM

Morocco is the guest of honor of the Paris Book Fair, held from March 24 to 27. And apparently, Moroccan litterature isn’t the only highlight.

While Morocco is the guest of honor of the event, part of the show will be devoted to cuisine and well-being, to Moroccan culinary traditions in particular.

An event entitled Moroccan Buffet: it’s not just couscous! , is scheduled on Sunday 26 March about the gastronomic specialties of Morocco.

“The couscous is one of the favorite dishes of the French people, but the Moroccan tradition is full of other culinary specialties, a richness to discover thanks to the skills of the best Moroccan chefs,” said the Book Fair in a statement.

Among the Moroccan chefs to be present, chefs Nadia Paprikas, author of the blog Paprikas , and Fatema Hal, who runs the restaurant Le Mansouria in Paris. Visotors can expect masterclasses, buffets, demonstrations of cooking, workshops … The Book Fair wants to “train readers towards the pleasures of the mind and the body”.
